Our Professional Guidance Counselor has over ten years experience assisting students of all levels in the college process. Included in this seminar will be information about essays, activity sheets, essays, applications, and much, much more.
Power Memorization & Study Skills

Presenter: Mr. Marc Hoberman, M.S., ED.
This seminar helps people of all ages retain and recall information instantly and effortlessly. Marc has helped parents, students, teachers, and business executives learn how to utilize their memory with confidence in order to enhance all aspects of their lives. Fun and powerful mnemonic devices and visualizations are just some of the techniques Marc uses to tap into the unused brainpower possessed by all. This workshop will provide parents not only with strategies for themselves, but also strategies to enhance their children's memory function as well.
Attention Deficit Disorder Understanding the Disorder and Remediation

Presenters: Dr. Marc Rauch and Ms. Dara Ritter, M.S.,ED
Attention Deficit Disorder has become an extremely common diagnosis among children and adults. Gaining an understanding of such a diagnosis and its etiology is extremely important in most effectively working with our children. This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the disorder, information regarding diagnosis and best practices in providing appropriate remediation at home, school and the community. Dr. Rauch and Ms. Ritter will utilize a combination of lecture and interactive techniques that will allow interested participants a solid understanding and methods for intervention.
Behavior Management

Behavioral problems in children cause a multitude of difficulties within the home environment, in school and in the community. It is vital for parents to have a clear understanding of behavioral difficulties and how to best remediate them. Dr. Rauch and Ms. Ritter will provide participants with a tremendous amount of information regarding behavior disorders and how to create effective behavior modification systems in order to modify a child's behavior. Participants will leave this workshop with many easy to implement tools for use within your home. This is a must for ALL parents!!!!

More Important information
Dr. Marc Rauch - Director
Dr. Marc Rauch is the founder and director of Problem Solved, Inc. He is a New York State Licensed Psychologist practicing in Rockland County. He has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings that include schools, camps, youth groups, and community centers. He has piloted numerous programs for at-risk children, as well. He has been training camp staffs, teachers, parents and other professionals for more than a decade. Dr. Rauch’s real life experiences in diverse settings prove most valuable to all with whom he works.
Marc Hoberman, M.S. - Director
Mr. Hoberman is the Director and Lead Facilitator of Grade Success, Inc. He has trained students, teachers, and corporate executives nationally. Mr. Hoberman has been featured on both television and radio. He has also led workshops at the New Jersey and New York State Reading Conferences as well as the International YAI Conference. Mr. Hoberman was a featured speaker at the 2006 & 2007 Tri-State Camping Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. From the classroom to the boardroom, Mr. Hoberman continues his mission to "help people realize their full potential."
STAFF
Dr. Henry Judka
Dr. Judka is a New York State Licensed Psychologist who has been working within the school setting and in private practice in Rockland County for the past 25 years. He has extensive experience working with emotionally disabled youngsters and is a staunch advocate for all children.
Ms. Dara Ritter, M.S.
Ms. Ritter is a graduate of SUNY Albany and holds a Master’s Degree in School Psychology. She has worked in the Rockland County School District for the past six years. She has extensive experience working with behaviorally disordered youngsters, children with learning disabilities and ADHD, and providing Crisis Intervention.
Mrs. Carla Zambri, M.S.
Mrs. Zambri is a Certified School Psychologist who has been working in the Rockland County School system for the past seven years. She has piloted several new and innovative programs and techniques for use with children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Mrs. Lori Stiller, M.S.
Mrs. Stiller earned an MS degree in Health and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University Teachers College and is a health teacher with twenty years experience. She is a leader of Varsity Athletes Against Substance Abuse, an advisor to the Youth Advisory Panel, and a specialist in gang issues, dating/domestic violence, and anti-bullying programs.
Other staff will also be utilized for certain sessions. Please refer to workshop flyers for specific instructor information.
LOCATION:
Unless otherwise noted, all workshops will be held at the Grade Success Education Center, located in the LIFEPLEX Complex at 18 College Road, Monsey, New York 10952.
DIRECTIONS:
- New York State Thruway to Exit 14B — Airmont Road. From Southbound — Make a right off ramp onto Airmont Road
- From Northbound — Turn left off ramp onto Airmont Road.
- Take Airmont Road and make a left onto Route 59E. Take Route 59E to College Road and make a left. LIFEPLEX will be on your right hand side.
FEES:
- $39 per person for 1½ hour workshops
- $49 per person for 2 hour workshops
Discounts offered to local school districts registering five or more participants and those engaging the services of Grade Success, Inc. and/or Problem Solved, Inc.
Our staff can also conduct customized workshops at your site, pending adequate registration.
POLICIES:
- The registration form must be received 10 days prior to workshop. Registrations after that date, or at the door, will have a $10 surcharge. All registrations at the door must be paid in cash.
- If a workshop is cancelled, a full refund or credit will be given. No other refunds will be given.
- Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
- If you are a professional educator, check with your employer regarding professional development credit.

- No purchase orders accepted.
- One registration form per participant.
